Years ago Gaimon and his crew landed on a small island. When they were about to leave Gaimon found treasure chests on top of a large hill. He accidently gets knocked out and falls in an empty one. He awakes to find no one there but himself. Even more he is stuck in the treasure chest and can't get out! Years later Luffy, Nami and Zoro show up to find Gaimon who is still stuck in the chest and has very huge hair. Luffy goes to get the treasure chests for him but finds they are empty, leaving Gaimon with his hopes of getting the treasure all these years gone. Although he didn't get any treasure he is very happy Luffy tried to help him. When they ask him to come with them Gaimon decides to stay on the island with the many creatures that live there.

Gedatsu, also called "Sky Guardian", is one of the four Skypiea priests. He uses the "Ordeal of Swamp" against his opponents. He uses Swamp's clouds to trap his opponents and suck them into the swamps. He also uses an extinct dial called "Jet Dial" where it increases the speed of his arm to allow a powerful punch. Gedatsu has problems with his eyes and his pupils go to the back of his head alot of the time.

A member of the Ouka Shichibukai. He sail the Florian Triangle in the Thriller Bark, the largest ship in the world, so big that there is an island inside it. He attracts the pirates who sails those water to his ship to capture them and to receive their bounties. He united forces with Hogback to create an army of zombies, he would obtain the shadows of powerful pirates while Hogback would find and prepare powerful bodies to introduce those shadows. His goal is to become the Pirate King, but now he is a lazy ass and prefers that others fights for him, this is because he was defeated by someone called Kaidou in the New World and now he is scared to lose again.

Genzo also known as Gen has been a resident of Kokoyashi village for many years. Technically, he's sort of like Nami's father and would do anything to keep her happy or safe. During an encounter with Arlong and his men while Nami was still a young girl, Gen-san and his fellow villagers had tried with their might to protect Nami from being taking by Arlong. But their efforts were in vain as Gen-san and the villagers we almost beaten to death. Also the windmill on Gen-san's hat originated from Nami's childhood. Whenever Gen-san would approach her, Nami would break out into a fret of tears because of his horrid looks! So to keep her from crying, Gen-san donned the windmill on his hat and strangely, it worked. Two years after the Straw Hat crew defeated Arlong and his henchman, Genzo, with the help of Nojiko and Chabo, would open their own business farming Bell-mère's tangerines.

Gin is one of Don Krieg's crew members who enters the Baratie restaurant looking for food. Him and the rest of the Krieg pirates were badly injured and starving having just come from Grand Line where they got destroyed. Knowing he is one of the ruthless Krieg pirates they throw him out. Sanji who feels bad for him gives him something to eat. After thanking Sanji he brings Krieg and the crew to the restaurant to take it over betraying Sanji! When they attack the ship Gin attempts to kill Sanji but finds he cannot. Since Sanji saved his life he couldn't kill him. This makes Krieg very mad and attacks everyone on the ship and Gin with poison gas. Luffy then defeats Krieg and they heal Gin. Gin carries off Krieg thanking Sanji on his way out.
