Macro's gang is involved in the Human Shop of the Sabaody Archipelago, for that reason the first time that he appears in Hatchan's minihistory he does with the intention of exchanging with Hatchan the location of a special takoyaki sauce by the ningyo Camie. Later in the story, Macro captures Hatchan with the help of the Tobiuo Riders and he is still after Camie. The Straw Hat helps Camie to rescue Hatchan and after this he easily defeats them again as always.
