Nami "the Burglar Cat", is a specialist at robbing pirates. She has decieved many pirates and stole there treasures from them. She decieved even Luffy and Buggy. Nami "join forces" with Luffy and Zoro shortly after the defeat of Buggy. She didn't want to become a pirate because she hated them (see her past). The reason why she "joined forces" is because they were after the same goal: treasure. But making friends with Luffy changed her view on pirates and offically became part of her crew after the Arlong arc. Nami becomes the crew's navigator and helps them through the oceam. She dream when she was young was to back a map of the whole world. Nami's Past Nami lived in the village of Kokoyashi, with her foster mother Bell-mère and sister Nojiko. One day, the Arlong pirate group invaded the village and took over. Arlong made them pay him money every month, or they would get killed. It was 50,000 berries for a child and 100,000 for an adult. Nami's family was poor, and they only had 100,000. Her mother used that money for her two daugthers and she was killed. From then on, Arlong took Nami captive because he saw her map making skills. So she was forced to become a pirate. To save the village, Arlong and Nami made a deal. If Nami could collect 100 Million Berries, Arlong would leave the town for good. So she's been collecting treasures from pirates for 8 years to achieve this goal.

She takes the name Miss Wendesday and discovers that Crocodile was behind all this. When she meets Luffy's crew, she asks them to help her. Nami said they would help by a charge 1 million Berries. Vivi stays with the crew until they finally stop the Arabasta war, and decides to stay at Arabasta instead of going with Luffy and co. But they promised eternal frienship.

Driven by his deceased wife, Queen Otohime, Neptune has always had an approaching policy of his people towards the humans, it's even said that he had a close friendship with Shirohige, who had taken Gyojin Island as his protectorate.

Unlike his fellow agents, Nero has only mastered four of the Rokushiki techniques: Soru, Kamie, Geppou and Rankyaku so he uses Yonshiki. He compensates for the lack of Shigan by using two guns. Nero was defeated by Franky on the roof of the Puffing Tom.

Nico Olvia was the mother of Nico Robin. She was an archaeologist from Ohara, who worked with a team of scholars in the "Tree of Knowledge" in the outlawed study of Poneglyphs. She left her 2 years old daughter at Ohara to set sail with 33 other scholars in the Poneglyphs, only to see them all die at the hands of the Marines, and to be captured herself. Though she later escaped with the help of Jaguar D. Saul and set out for home, the World Government had already deduced that Ohara was the team's home port and dispatched the secret agency CP9 to wipe out the "criminal" researchers. Olvia manages to make it to the Tree of Knowledge and warns her fellow scholars of the incoming danger, then goes to confront Spandine but is subdued and rounded up with the rest of the scholars back at the tree where she is reunited with her daughter. She at first claim Robin isn't her daughter to keep her safe, but breaks down when Robin calls out to her. The CP9 let Olvia go to die by the Buster Call while she embraces Robin one more time before Saul arrives and asks him to take Robin off the island. She then helps Clover and the other scholars throw books from the tree into the water so future generations can find them and know what really happened. Afterwards, they all stay in the Tree of Knowledge as it burns around, Olvia regretting that she didn't leave any parting words for Robin as a mother.

Nico Robin or "the Demond Child" (anso Miss All Sunday in Baroque Works), asked Luffy if she can join his crew, and he said yes. Nico Robin isn 't really anything on the crew, but she can find out things by looking at artifacts and such, because she came from a family of archeologists, the Ohara clan. She ate the Hana Hana no Mi, which allows her to grow her hands out of anywhere she wants. Nico Robin is still mysterious though, because not much is known about her. Zoro is the only one on the crew that doesn't trust her. Nico Robin's Past To the young age of 8, the Marines use the Buster Call against her and the rest of the Ohara clan because with their abilities they could revive the ancient weapons. Robin using her powers manage to survive and to sink all the Marines ships, reason why they put a bounty on her head (worth 79 Million Berries). From then she's been on the run from the government. She protects herself by joining criminals (like Baroque Works). She is out to find the true history.

When Luffy gets lost in the forest of Thriller Bark while pursuing Moriah, he meets some pirates without shadow called "Rolling Pirates". Along with their captain Lola, they show him one of the qualities of Moriah's ability: to absorb the shadows and gain skills from them. To see if the experiment worked, Luffy will absorb the shadow of an expert Marine swordsman, Luffy got the ability to cut anything with a sword! Testing his resistance, Lola and the other pirates inserted in Luffy's body a total of one hundred more shadows. Lola baptize this person as Moriah's nightmare: "Nightmare Luffy".

Two years after the Straw Hat crew defeated Arlong and his henchman, Nojiko joined Genzo and Chabo to open their own business farming Bell-mère's tangerines.
