He too does battle with Zoro and in the end also loses like his companion, Sham. | |

| Long ago a man name Captain Kuro was a very dangerous pirate. He faked his death and showed up in a small village where he began working as a servant in a large mansion going under the name Kurahadol. A family lived there but the parents passed away leaving only the young woman Kaya. He took care of her for years, building the peoples trust in the village. Finally, his true self came to light. He planned on having Kaya killed and getting all of her money with the help of his old pirate crew. Luffy's crew teams up with a boy named Usopp from the village to battle them. Luffy fights Kuro who has blades for fingertips it seems. Luffy manages to overcome him and save the village. | |

| The Kuroneko Pirate Crew's ship guardian who is partners with Buchi. They are also quite powerful fighters. When they are called upon to fight Luffy and his crew they pretend they are scared to fight but are really just saying that to throw their enemies off. Sham as sharp blades, or claws that he uses when fighting Zoro. Even after stealing two of Zoro's swords he is eventually defeated along with his partner, Buchi. | |
