The Gray Terminal's fire continues, fortunately, its inhabitants managed to escape thanks to Dragon and the revolutionaries help. Dadan and the bandits have come to the rescue of the boys, but Ace shows again his stubbornness and refuses to scape. While the bandits take Luffy to a safe place, Dadan and Ace are left to deal with Blue Jam. On the day of the government inspection visit, Sabo has decided to go out to sea and become a pirate, since as a noble he feels he will never find the freedom.
